The GitLab integration links merge requests to Stellar items so status updates happen on their own. As an MR moves from draft to merged, the linked item moves from In Progress to Done — no manual updates required.

It supports self-managed and SaaS GitLab instances alike.

How it works

Connect your GitLab group in a single step and choose which projects to sync. Reference an issue ID in the branch name or MR title, and Stellar links them automatically.

Use magic words in the MR description to link multiple issues or close them on merge.
